OUTREACH
SPCA:This year we will be helping our
four-legged friends, awaiting homes at the SPCA. This term we will be collecting old
newspapers and cat and dog food. All
donations will be greatly appreciated and can be given to Miss Agnew, Room C48.
J29 Safehouse:
This term
we will be collecting coins for J29 Safehouse. Please send spare change to Ms Pheiffer (Room M1).
Please
note that a maximum of 10 roses will be awarded per term for participation in
community outreach projects so please do not feel pressurized to buy items to
ensure that your child is awarded “Roses.’
WORLD
CUP SOCCER CIVVIES
On the
last Friday of every month from January – June, learners may wear a pair of
jeans or shorts and a soccer jersey of any of the countries participating in
the FIFA 2010 World Cup at a cost of R5,00 per civvies
day. Please note that this is not a
general civvies day so no other civvies may be worn. English Premiership soccer
jerseys such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool may not be worn. No jewellery or make up may be worn.
The
remaining civvies days will be held on the following dates:
